The Lumibricks Graffiti Bus Stop is part of the Lumibricks Street Fusion range, and it’s one of the bestselling sets at Bricknique.com. It’s fantastic when Lumibricks builders create build videos showing the construction and build of their sets, and @Alexx90 has done a great job with this Lumibricks Build video.

Drawing inspiration from the iconic bus station in New York during the 1990s, this Lumibrick set captures the vibrant graffiti culture and bustling flea market exchanges. It highlights elements such as graffiti-covered trash cans, manhole covers, and discarded newspapers, all of which contribute to an authentic depiction of the gritty and laid-back street life that defined New York in that era.
The Lumibricks Graffiti Bus Stop is fully compatible with any LEGO City and fits perfectly into an urban street theme. The brick quality is fantastic, and the light kit makes the whole thing pop. I love the fact that there is a street sign pointing to Spin Records for the Lumibricks Record store set. All around a fantastic set at an amazing price.
The Lumibricks Grafitti Bus Stop forms part of the Street Fusion theme. If you enjoy this style, then checkout the skate store set from Lumibricks as a perfect companion, build with a step up in size and features.
Becky’s Bricks UK has built the book cafe by Lumibricks and has given us a full review of how the build went, the quality of the Lumibrick elements, the design of the model and how it compares to the leading brand. Take a look:
The book cafe by Lumibricks is available at Bricknique.com It’s part of thire Town Life theme and a bestseller for many years. The model fits in nicely with the other Lumibricks classic style modular buildings, such as the Antique Store, Record Store, and the Balcony theatre sets.
The Book Cafe by Lumibrickst includes 1718 building blocks, a lighting kit, and a clear assembly guide. If you order from Bricknique, you also get their first class UK customer support and aftercare services. The light lit for the Book cafe is very simple to set up. It’s a great first build experience if you are now to adding lights into your models as you build them. Be warned though… the results look great and it’s very addictive.

We’re currently building the Balcony Theatre Lumibrick set live on TikTok every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 10pm . Come and join us – TikTok channel @bricknique
We have just completed the first 4 bags of the Lumibricks Balcony Theatre brick set, and it’s so good! Here’s a look at what’s happened so far on the live build:
Here are a few common questions about Lumibricks and Funwhole sets we receive from customers.
1) Where can I get a replacement if I lose a Lumibricks piece?
You can buy directly from Bricknique.com or Lumibricks. A special service card is included in the pack for just that situation. The bricks are the same as the logo, so you can switch in Lego bricks into the build if you wish or have those already as spares.
2) If the lights break, where can I get a replacement?
The light kits have a warranty, so if you have a problem, just report it to us, and we will take care of it. We can also supply spare parts.
3) Do the Limibricks come stamped with the brand, or are they plain? I wonder how I would be able to tell these bricks from a cheap rubbish set if they are also plain.
The Lunibricks are not logo-stamped. However, you will be able to easily tell them apart from cheap, low-quality set bricks, as they feel and look very high-quality. These have the same ‘click, feel, and hold’ as the leading brand.
4) Do the sets have stickers or printed pieces? Or is it a mix of both, depending on the set?
The sets have printed parts, not stickers.
5) Can you buy train tracks for the steampunk train? If so, can you turn it into a moving train?
We don’t sell them, but the steampunk train pieces/sets are all compatible with LEGO sets, so if you have a LEGO track, you can run the train on it.
Ever since watching Bladerunner, I’ve wondered what it would be like to live in a gritty, neon-drenched futuristic cityscape. Now the Lumibricks Cyberpunk Apartments brick can give me the next best thing… As a lifelong LEGO lover and alternative brick set enthusiast, I have to say: this Lumibricks set is first class in so many ways.
Everyone’s partial to the odd medieval castle or modular city streets— but it’s time for them to move over for a trip into the neon world of Lumibrick cyberpunk design, where bright LED lights, industrial landscapes, and cyber-noir vibes come together to create something extraordinary.
First Impressions: Cyberpunk in a Box
The moment you open the box, the Lumibricks Cyberpunk Apartments set shines with cool. Giving you an impressive 2,507 piece count, and a fully integrated lighting system, it’s a joy for the fingers as well as the eyes. LEGO sets leave the lighting to third-party suppliers, not here though… Lumibricks includes everything you need for that impressive cyberpunk glow—right from the start in easy steps that make it simplicity to set up.
The packaging is professional, high end, and well-organized, with numbered bags, an easy-to-follow graphical instructions just like we are used to, and a separate guide for the lighting installation. From the moment you open it, the building process feels like an adventure.
Build Experience: Gritty, Glowing Goodness
The build process is immersive and deeply satisfying. The Lumibrick team definitely took inspiration from classic cyberpunk imagery—think Blade Runner meets Ghost in the Shell, with just a sprinkle of The Fifth Element. The apartments are loaded with gritty textures, pipes, air conditioning units, rooftop antennas, neon signage, and grimy walkways that make it feel like a lived-in dystopian future.
The internal structure is sturdy, and the detailing is a chef’s kiss. The layered architecture and asymmetrical shapes lend realism and grunge to the design that’s often missing from traditional city sets. Plus, there’s an unexpected satisfaction in constructing a setting where broken windows and rust-stained metal are design features, not flaws!
Each floor of the Lumibrick cyberpunk apartment complex tells a story. There’s a mysterious noodle shop at the base, some grungy rooms above that might house hackers or bounty hunters, and a rooftop scene that practically begs for some sci-fi stop-motion storytelling. Whether you’re a builder or a brick photographer, this set is bursting with potential.
Let There Be (Cyberpunk) Light
The real star of the show? The LED lighting system. It transforms the model from “awesome” to “jaw-droppingly epic.”
With orange, blue, and red tones casting a moody glow on the building, the Lumibrick Cyberpunk Apartments feel truly alive. Night-mode display? Instant winner. The lights accentuate the fine details and bring out the dark-future atmosphere like no set I’ve ever built before.
Installation is surprisingly straightforward. Even if you’re new to lighting your models, the manual will guide you through the process. Each wire is pre-cut to length, and the bricks are designed to accommodate them without compromising structural integrity.
The lighting adds an extra layer of joy for adult fans of brick sets (AFOLs). It’s not just about building—it’s about storytelling and atmosphere. I’ve had it on my shelf for a week now and still find myself switching off the leading lights to admire the neon-lit grimness in all its glory.
Lumibricks vs LEGO: A Worthy Alternative?
Let’s address the (brick-built) elephant in the room: how does Lumibricks stack up to LEGO?
Honestly? Brilliantly.
While LEGO still dominates the market for IP sets and nostalgic themes, Lumibricks’ cyberpunk sets, like this one, push boundaries in design and originality. The bricks are high-quality and have excellent clutch power—no loose pieces, no warping, no weird tolerances. And while LEGO has flirted with cyberpunk vibes in sets like Ninjago City, Lumibricks dives into it headfirst, unapologetically.
This is a set clearly made by adult builders for adult builders. It doesn’t hold your hand with oversized pieces or simplified techniques. Instead, it invites you to take your time, enjoy the process, and bask in the electric glow of a dystopian skyline when you’re done.
Plus, you’re getting 2,507 pieces and a full lighting kit at a price that’s extremely reasonable. That’s major value.
Who’s It For?
If you love gritty sci-fi movies, dystopian cityscapes, or just want something edgier and more original for your display shelf, this one’s for you.
Adult collectors looking for a statement piece? Yes.
Sci-fi nerds craving a diorama-worthy backdrop? Yes.
LEGO fans curious about alternative brick brands? Absolutely.
Beginners might find it a bit more challenging, especially with the lighting, but the manual is detailed enough that even a determined novice can follow along. Building it with a partner or teen is a fantastic bonding project.
Display Worthy? Oh, 100%.
Once built, the Lumibricks Cyberpunk Apartments measure in at an impressive 11.02″ (H) x 8.66″ (L) x 6.10″ (W). It doesn’t just sit on your shelf—it commands attention. It looks like a miniature movie set between the detailed construction and the glowing lights.
It’s the kind of model that sparks conversation. Visitors will ask where you got it. Brickheads will want to know how it’s lit. And you’ll find yourself dreaming of building a whole cyberpunk street around it. (Funwhole, if you’re reading this—please add more sets in this theme!)
Final Verdict: Cyberpunk Perfection in Brick Form
Let’s be honest—sometimes, alternative brick sets can be hit or miss. But Lumibricks isn’t just another wannabe brand. They’ve hit their stride, and the Lumibricks Cyberpunk Apartments set proves they’re a serious player in the adult builder space.
Between the excellent brick quality, satisfying build, stunning aesthetics, and brilliant lighting system, this set absolutely nails the cyberpunk vibe. It’s challenging, rewarding, and utterly addictive.
Lumibricks cyberpunk fans, sci-fi lovers, and anyone looking to level up their brick-building experience—this is your next must-have.
We were so excited to start the next build from the lumibrick brand of alternative toy building bricks. After enjoying the street fusion lumibrick skate shop, we decided to go big and loud with the lumibricks Record Store set.
So what does a 1980 piece set get you? It sends you back in time.. to the late 1980’s or 90’s for a truck load of funk with an urban jelly jazz flavour!
The technical bit
The lumibricks Record Store F9058, features three storey forming a modular building that is rather unique.
You get 1980 pieces. We wonder if yhe piece count was selected on purpose to reference for 1980s? You also get six lumibrick style minifigures.
Best of all there are loads of printed parts and zero stickers!
The set included an excellent lighting kit: 29 Elements (with LED lights, brick connectors, tiny wire cables)
For the printed plates, we’re talking graffiti walls to retro signs and vinyl records from the street, this set captures the essence of cool style from the last century. lumibricks have put so much detail in this set, you could stare at it for hours.
What’s lumibrick brick quality like?
The set is a joy to build, with bricks that feel exactly like the market leading brand and instructions that are in the same class. Normal size and feel. Perfect clutch grip. FunWhole has done a first class job making this feel premium in every way. The clever Panorama Street View drawer-type floor removal system is incredible, allowing you to easily take out the floors on each level. One of the real plus points about this set is the lack of stickers. We all hate them… and FunWhole know that, providing proper high quality printed bricks and plates instead.
How easy is lumibricks Lighting to install?
As you build this from the ground up, you install the light wires as you go. This is so easy. I want nervous about this initially, but it couldn’t have been simpler. The instructions go overboard making sure you have it just right and are following along correctly. I really appreciated that. The tiny wires hide inside special bricks and then thread behind items and furniture so it’s discrete and looks perfect. When the lights turn on… your build becomes something special.
Who wants to build the lumibricks record store?
Aimed at afol’s ; Adult Fans of Lego, and Lego city builders… this is a detailed, rich building experience. However, it’s full of Easter eggs, play features and interesting details that younger builders will love. That makes it a perfect ‘family’ build you can work on as a pair or group.
In conclusion, we loved this build from start to finish. A larger set than the also popular lumibricks skate store. A solid 98% score
We’ve just finished a build of the lumibrick skate shop for a shop window display. Here’s a tour of the finished build:
The set is great fun to build. Packed full of details, and not a sticker in sight.
The included lumibricks light kit was so easy to install, as it’s added through the build rather than fitted at the end. The design naturally hides the wires in clever ways, and it was so simple to follow the instructions.
The base of the set is 32 x 26 Studs. Build on provided solid plates rather than the thin base plates found in Lego sets. This means you can construct it at a 32×26 block, or simply build it on a 32×32 and then add more pavement to the empty 6×32 area. We wanted to build this on a mils plate, so it can slot into a modular city easily, so we just added some grey 4×4 tiles to extend the paved area to fit a 32×32 base.
lumibricks really ‘get’ the whole afol (adult fans of Lego) addiction… there’s just the right amount of detail, practical build dynamics, and quirky areas to discover that make this hobby so compelling. You can tell from the moment you crack open the box, that it’s been put together by a team that love brick building as well as being committed to growing a major world market alternative brick brand.
The lumibrick Skate Shop set is a brilliant set for all levels of ability. It’s one of the 5 lumibricks bestsellers for good reason, as both a starter city building set, or a modular that will fit nicely into an expert builders cityscape.
Here’s the Lumibricks UK bestsellers for 2025. It features the most popular building block sets designed for adult collections and building blocks for younger family fun building. Each lumibrick set included a super easy to install lighting kit and a high-quality, easy instruction book perfect for gifting to someone you love or treating yourself to a new set.
The list Lumibrick UK bestseller list is updated weekly for the top recommended products.
The Lumibrick Skate Store was the first set the team built and it blew us away with the attention to quality and detail from an alternative brick brand. Miles above the competition, Lumibrick consistently releases excellent sets, and this is definitely one they should be proud of. The set is fun to build, full of little details to make you smile, and the finished building is just darn right cool to behold. If you have never built a Lumibrick brick model set… Start with this one.
The Lumibrick antique store will appeal to anyone who wants to expand their modular city with a lovely corner building that shines with charm; the set has loads of details and little easter eggs, making it fun to build. The light kit is excellent, and the instructions are detailed and easy to follow as the market-leading brand.
We love the Lumibrick theme of steampunk and this train is a great example. The light kit makes the whole thing pop so well. It’s a perfect choice if you want to add steampunk to your city or simply want a superb display model.
A classic design and a well-put-together set. The Lumibricks Lakeside Lodge fits perfectly into any rural modular city collection. The lights look great, and the brick quality is first-class. I lovely set for kids too as it has many play features.
Fitting in well with the Street theme, Lumibrick is expanding. The Grafitti Bus stop looks good on a shelf and also builds in well with a modular urban cityscape. The printed plates are a refreshing change from having to apply stickers. Everything is high quality and a joy to build. This makes a nice addition to any city road area, making it a must-have. It’s a great first set to try out Lumibricks at a great price.
Lumibricks Vs Lego? Ask anyone to name a company that makes building models from plastic toy bricks, and they will instantly say LEGO. It’s the market leader worldwide since its creation in 1932 for good reason. First class quality, and a huge range of fantastic licensed brand deals with themes such as Harry Potter, Marvel, Mario and many more.
The world dominance of the building set category of toys has lead to their annual revenue exploding in recent years. Lego sets range up to hundreds of pounds. With both adults and children avidly consuming each new release. It’s a VERY expensive and addictive hobby, but is there a better alternative? Competition is good for everyone, so is there any alternative brand that could rival, or compete with, LEGO?
When it comes to alternative brick-building brands, there’s a vast selection to explore beyond LEGO. Some companies secure official licenses to produce sets based on popular franchises, while others venture into themes that LEGO deliberately avoids—such as military models and historical warfare. Among the notable contenders are Cobi, BlueBrixx, Mega Blox, Brick Shop, JMBricklayer, and several others, all offering an extensive range of sets at competitive prices.
Although many cheaper brands do offer designs that are impressive, the quality of the plastic and overall brick fit often fall short of LEGO’s high standards. The precision in LEGO’s molding process ensures a near-flawless connection between pieces, which is something many competitors struggle to match. However, standing out from the majority of alternative brands, one is becoming known as a potential game-change: lumibricks .
lumibrick are based in Guangdong, China. The brand name lumibricks was created to represent happiness of day and night.’
At Bricknique we’ve become a massive fan of the lumibricks range. The high quality and very competitive pricing (sets range from £30 to £100 for complete city building Modular sets. It’s almost half the price of most comparable LEGO sets
Our first build was the lumibrick Skate Store set. It was a fantastic build, totally free of stickers, packed with printed pieces, Easter egg details and an amazing light kit with specialised bricks to easily hide the cables within. Installing the wires and lights is amazingly simple and easy.
Recently we’ve fallen in love with the lumibricks Steampunk theme. Especially the steampunk train set. Many Lego collectors dismiss alternative brick brands without a second thought. However, as LEGO set prices continued to climb, many collectors are gradually being priced out. It’s hardly surprising that many more people are prepared to give alternative brick sets a go, and lumibrick will be a great discovery.
Over the past year lumibricks , have really pushed hard to get their brick quality perfected. We can’t tell the difference between their bricks and Lego. The clutch-power (the hold between bricks) is a perfect match. The pieces are fully compatible, and a joy to use.
There are three things you will instantly see lumibricks better than LEGO :
The lights
Printed parts rather than stickers
The price
If you’re thinking of expanding your collection of modular buildings and don’t want to spend £500+ for a retired LEGO modular set, lumibricks is a brilliant way to expand your Lego city or simply build some amazing models without the huge cost.
The Lumibricks UK Steampunk Ore Train is a construction kit with 1056 pieces, offering an intricately designed set that truly stands out.
If that wasn’t good enough, just with the level of detail found in the steampunk train itself, this kit also includes lights! Lumibricks has provided the freedom to showcase your blocks in two unique ways: unlit for a classic look, or lit for a stunning display that elevates your set to a whole new level.
We are huge fans of train brick model sets. And the steampunk train is available from Lumibrick UK stores is up there with the best we’ve built. The steampunk theme from Lumibricks is hugely popular, and when this is combined with the steampunk station set you have a showstopping display piece.
When you add the easy-to-install light kit, the train display takes a whole new level. Just look at how amazing the lit-up ‘crystal rocks’ look when you turn on the light kit.
Solid brick quality, high-quality easy to follow instructions, and best of all not a sticker in sight. FunWhole continue to be the market leader for alternative brick sets, with fully compatible bricks and first class after sale care and support.
A very impressive alternative choice to the leading dominant brand we all know and love.
The beautiful detail is a joy to watch being built up as you work through the instructions. You can tell the set has been designed by both a building block expert and someone that has a genuine love for intricate detail.
All in all the Funwhole UK Steampunk Ore Train is a solid premium quality set and is highly recommended.
